the biggest issue is when they re-configure this softwares, they almost always mess up . but it hasn't gotten worst, for the most part its gotten better except now with gm which is mayor screw up. the Honda evap and immo on old vehicles has always been an issue they haven't fully corrected yes. the steering relearned  I haven't found any issues regarding that function  on gm but  we may have worked on different vehicles too. regarding ford programming its is suppost to be there on the 905,908,908p. the 708 is the only tool that is not suppost to have it. but you are right there has been many issues with updates this year  and with GM last update its very hard for me and you to praise the tool at this moment but hopefully its just a hiccup. there are other issues with immobilizer function for a few vehicles like old ford,hondas Nissan for a while now after update 3.0  but hopefully corrected soon. they are always so involved in adding new stuff they keep messing up the old ones. I have been on this forum since early 2010 and seen autel do some crazy updates that makes you want to  run they other way sometimes but they always fix them. Chrysler had some mayor issue in the past so did ford bmw benz Nissan and other vehicles but has gotten better for the most part. immobilizer has become a big issue lately for some reason like someone or something is putting pressure on them I believe but just get a ck-100 or ck-200 and forget the immo function. anyway is good to hear you take on this matter.

 all i know for sure  is alot of functions  that was there  for honda  evap  is now gone.    also  in ford menus    it has ecm programming functions  which  the 905 does not do.  i dont remember  all the cars i work on     but i sure do pull out my otc gensisys  alot more now  when the maxisys wont work.   the first year  i had this scanner  i never needed  to use my gensisy.   

 also ede65  with the ck 200   do you need to buy tokens.   i see the ck 200 costs about 650 bucks.    is it worth the money  does it work  on alot of cars

 yes the evap am aware of but ecm programming I was not. under programming on ford you will find module programming installation and parameter installation. we have a few modules but I have never seen this feature for ecm. I know cuz I asked for it also as built capability. which vehicle did you see this under am curious though never seen it.

  yes the ck-100 comes with 2000 tokens. this does not mean you will do 2000 vehicles, some will use just one token and some uses more. the ck200 is unlimited I believe. also skp-900

 next time i hook up to a ford  i will  look at it more to understand it . i see all modules  for programming in the ford programming menu
