if you are using a used pcm there is no need to program anything but the vin number on the replacement pcm. there are a couple of ways but my favorite is this one. go to chrysler/manual selection/up to 2003 option/diagnosis/control unit/powertrain/ecm/special function/check vin. now right before you click on check vin turn key off, it will say it is an invalid vin , type the vehicle's vin, turn key on and write the vin, when done turn key off, wait 15 seconds and start the vehicle. you can also disconnect the skim before the vin check if you like but not needed. now for newer vehicles with wcm/win node , this procedure wont work, once you turn key off it will just loose communication and exit the function, in this case go to body/wcm/misc function/pcm replacement, you will be prompted to enter pin code, don't enter anything, just exit and you will be prompted to write the vin. and that is all he wrote. enjoy.
