Sent a data log for a 06 f250 5.4. Power balance does not work. Have all latest
updates with USB cable used. Power balance screen comes up but no data. -

great.. Remember each version uses memory so i try to use the list provided by ede65. Generally I use the latest versions but its nice to use the old if you need it. Any issues with system update 1.28? How does maxsys see both versions on the update arrow thingy?Have not updated since 1.28 Some issues with multicars manufacturers. Single cars are easy.Look at your cars and versions to see how far you can go back. If you have ford 4.12 maybe you have others. remember things were different back then so it takes a little adjusting. -

Had some extra time today at work so compared several Ford, Chevy cars. Newest version has more programming, coding, special functions than from Ford 4.12 and gm 5.0 when they had original logos. Chevy had tpms issue and couldn't load new sensor I'd n old version but could in latest, was surprised. And no issues with latest OS update at all. Even left 2 old versions of Ford and 1 old gm folders, updated Ford and gm and it didn't cancel out other diag folders I made in main diag screen which I thought would override but didn't. And no I bought scanner October last year so that's as far back as I have stored, just can't believe I forgot I backed it up per edde year ago. Hope that helps -

according to ede65 gm5.0 had issues try loading gm 5.1 and Chrysler 4.0. thanks for the info -

As for Power Balance of Ford, the Part No. of this vehicle (F-150, 2014) engine is EL3A-14C204-ASA, which is a new Part No. and we haven't included this part No. in our database in our current and previous versions (V5.00, V5.10 and V5.11）, so our Ford softawre can't support the Power Balance for this vehicle (F-150, 2014), accurate to say it can't support this new Part No.As you said it can work in V5.1, I think it is the same vehicle mode, but different engine Part No. -

Hondaman is there any way I can download old gm versions if not can you help me out
can I send you a usb or hdd and I use your old versions the only reason I bought this
scanner was to use the programing function I now lost after update plz help me I can
