    I have a vw passat with fault code 00476 can't seem to find any information about it vehicle run ok most the time but some time intermittent misfire no managment light on just code fuel pump no communication please help

     Usually wiring between ECU and pump (control unit) .

    Try replacing the fuel pump relay first and see if that helps.................Also can you tell us what is the Engine Code and what year is this vehicle................
