'04 GMC 1500 Sierra Pickup 4.3l crankshaft sensor relearn

    Just got my MaxiDas 708 did the update when turned on. tried to do a crankshaft variation relearn. I get a not connected to control unit. If I do an auto scan all I get is ( no comm.). the device does clear any fault codes. I did what the unit said to do to fix the connection. I keep getting the same message.

    Sorry, we just located this problem, the current version has problem to communicate with GM cars of VPW protocol. We will release a new version in the coming days to solve it soon. So sorry for the inconvenience caused for you.

    And other customers, please don't update GM software, please wait for our newly release.

     In short all the new updates coming at the expense of customers, who makes them? what is the manufacturer? Put back the old proven version and all
