I believe the MS 509 is the same as the Harbor freight  Centech 98614 My Max Link Version 1.00 software I installed in Windows 7 years ago (that I still use with my Centech 98614) still works to view and print scantool data after I updated my Windows 7 desktop to Windows 10. I'm not sure if I deleted the program ,then try to reinstall  the program by CD back on my  desktop Windows 10 after the fact ,that  it would allow reinstall of  the old Maxlink Version one program any longer though.

 You might want to try to disable driver signature enforcement and try loading the Maxi Link program it came with  and attach the scanner with USB cable to PC again.

 Hi, the MaxiLink software should not support Windows 10. You may try on a windows 7 PC to check the result. Thanks!
