Follow the diagnostic path for the code you retrieved . First of all  You did not provided enough information about the model year, engine , codes you pulled, etc . I assume it is a diesel. It could have a restricted air intake or exhaust system, low fuel supply  pressure, poor fuel quality, low injector control pressure, oil aeration caused by oil viscosity wornout ,low, or wrong type of engine oil, a bad turbocharger,or even  a valve cover gasket electrical connector issue inside where a whole bank of injectors might not work.
