     What tool do you have, and what vehicle are you working on.

    Depending on what you are working on it's usually only able to be done by a dealer, or even with the proper programming tool/adapter combo, you still have to have access to the software from the dealer.

    You can do it with the MaxiFlash J2534.

    You will need a subscription to whatever vehicle you're programming.
