I would say maybe, Chrysler only supports calibration updates on used PCM's. You could get the calibration data out of your PCM. Then go to techauthority.com and get the calibration list and see if there is an update available. If so, you can purchase a subscription to techauthority and download the calibration that is for a non egr engine and download and install it.
The calibrations that are available for download have descriptions with them. It's up to you to pick the correct calibration.
Do you have the vin for the car that the engine came from? If so, you may be able to connect the jbox, as it searches for the vin shut the key off. It will not be able to read the vin, then you can manually enter the vin from the donor vehicle and download that file to install.
