Pretty sure the scanner will still get access as long as auto auth is up to date with the fees. Did recently use snap on Verus D10 without the latest update but did have to remember to turn "on" wireless adapter as I leave it off since it conflicts with Bluetooth connection to VCI . Have had no problems with MS906BT so far (3 vehicles). My guess is I'll have to wait till subscription over to see if Autel screws with it.It's kind of a must have thing for me with the body shop and newer vehicles all the time also secure gateways is definitely the future as drive CAN communications will no longer be able to run directly to the OBD 2 port. By the way hope you and family doing well.

 Does it prompt you to enter your password when working on Chrysler & Like vehicles? We’re you able to select your Device during regeneration? Or does it just say, “All Devices, or Other Devices?”
