trying to program 05 nissan altima key but keep geting error tried the bcm code

Hi thanks for the replied I did replace the ecu with a used ecu and was trying to
reprogrammed the key back
My code was e8712 I got a pin of 8302 and 5208 but couldn't get it to work

I mean I wrote the vin to the new ecu so that should be all you have to do for the ecu right ?

Another question do you have to have a brand new key or can you reuse the old key ?
