    Hi,

I believe my immo module is broken and I'm thinking of buying a used one and cloning my original immo memory into it. What autel tool I can use for the job?

    Thank you for your time!

    Regards,
    Ivan

Hi, I thoughed you need the maxicom ultra with the j.2534 for doing this, but if you
need to do this only for this car its cheaper to let somebody else (garage or dealer)
    doing this for you.

Isn't that tool expensive? Can I get the job done with MK808 for example?

Where did you read it is not bidirectional? What about MK808S ? It says it is bidirectional here:

Sorry, but a mk808 is unable to program ecu therefore you need at least a ms908p
which can do this. Its better to consult a autel dealer for this.

From where do you get information what is possible and not? Why do you think even ms908p will work? Is there a chart or something available? I have been reviewing https://autel.com/vehicle-coverage/coverage2 and the information there is not clear what is possible.

Hi, instead of searching for the right device to buy ,you better contact a porsche dealer
to solve your problem and that will be a lot cheaper .because device prices start at
around50 us dollar to 5000us dollar, and believe me that each device that is more
    expensive can do more.
