Maxidas 708 setup

I purchased a used Maxidas from the estate of a home mechanic, and contacted Autel to get it registered in my name. They explained I just needed to download the correct file from their website and install it on a fresh SD card, which I did. After booting the device gives me an SD card error, stating "SD card is damaged or not inserted". Should the file on the SD card be the original zip file or should I unzip it and move the resulting files onto the SD card? Hi, this 708 can not be updated anymore, you can use it still for older vehicles, the 708
is a no longer current model..with limitations.
