      I have a MaxiCom MK908 Pro with J2534
How do I use it to program a used ECU from the salvage yard into my car?
Anyone that could give me a clue on how to move forward with this task so that I will be able to change my faulty ECU with the one from the scrapyard.

The car is a Citroen Picasso C3 and the ECU is a "BOSCH EDC 16 C34

I can't say for sure with a Citroen because I have never worked on one here in the US. If
it's like most cars you must go to Citroen's service website, purchase a subscription to
download the software to program the ECM.
I don't know if you will run in to security issues or not as I have never done a Citroen.
Some cars require you to program keys or atleast sync the security system after
    replacing the ECM.
If you have never done this type of job before, it will be a learning curve and most likely
    will take many hours.
