     I have 2004 Chrysler Crossfire, I connect OBDII and it will read the codes, but when I go to delete it has error/fail and advises to check connection/ignition on but not running and battery.

    Connection is good, since it is reading and originally connecting

    ignition is on but not running

    New battery, which tested as good/fully charged.

    Any help will be appreciated.

     Hi.
    It depends of diag program functionality.
    Some of those - can delete, some - not. just read codes.
