I got a chance to test drive the new Matco Maximus which is a Launch "Pad", in a Matco shell, I believe. It is PC based, Windows 7. It only has 2GB of RAM and it is slow.It has a small 16 GB SSD and half is taken up by the OS, and programs, leaving less than 8GB freespace. The graphing is horrible, but better than Autel's DS708. No BMW. some others may be missing. It looks like everyone is trying to play catch-up to the SO Verus. It has no scope. The construction is super light and feels cheap. Touchscreendoes not always respond, and repeated attempts to open window result in long waits, followed by the double opening of said app. At least it has a battery. I hope that the new Autel MY908 is better. I will wait to see what it is like.

I would not mind testing it, so keep me in mind, please.If it has the same coverage as the the DS708 and the graphing is fixed, you will kick Launch's ass! The Matco tool was slow, 2GB RAM, Atom Processor, and a small SSD hard drive ot only 16 GB and only 8 GB available for storage. Very weak. Very slow. They tried to copy the Verus, and came up short. No scope either.
