Update v3.12 followed by error message at bootup.

Since I have updated my TS401 to V 3.12 I have this error message at boot up:"aut version is defferent with bin version! Please update"Yeah, "...defferent..."I can click the "Y" button and the error message diseapears but the device is buggy and often freezes. Then I have to hold the power button for many seconds for the device to reboot.Any of you have experienced this problems and found a solution?Thank you !J-S -

There are two files needed to update the TS401 firmware. Apparently you only updated the 'bin' file. The other file is the 'aut' file which is loaded second under the 'Update DTC' pane. It should say 'Update AUT' instead.If you have trouble entering the 'Update Mode', you can power up the device while holding the 'N' button to directly enter the 'Update Mode'.Good luck. -

Duh! You are absolutely right!That was a beginner mistake. Its been so long since I did the last update that I forgot to update the 2 files.Problem fixed!Thank you for your help!J-S -

I am having essentially the same issue with a major problem added. Maxilink is not seeing the AUT file so I can not select it to update. Any suggestions?
