This is a total disaster and a headline story just waiting  to happen, IMHO. €3000 for a 908 only eight months ago and now it seems to have less functionality than it did when new. I sure hope the litigation can be sorted out, if Autel need to pay fees to Ford etc. then they should be able to do it from the yearly update charges that customers pay.

 has anyone tried a system wipe...to recover whatever is available before system update??? will that work

I tend to think there might be some truth in this.can't say I am very happy in hearing
about this and even less happy about the response by autel themselfs.to many things
happening for it not to be true.also why when you attempt to update its always
down?.my hunch is autel have the mind set tht the less they respond to things the bettr
it is for them but unfortunatly the worse it is for all its loyal customers.

   I called autel yesterday to get them to give me afree year subscription and they declined to do this for me.
