Hey support.  I have a question about prolonging battery life.   I leave my 908p plugged into the charger most of the time so it never gets very low on charge.   Is that ok for the battery or should I run the battery down sometimes.  How can I get the most life out of the battery.
Also I usually only turn the unit off over the weekend. Should I turn it off nightly or never?  Does it even matter?

i have removed battery from 908pro no big deal

but any numbers that are the battery don't cross over something we can use to try and find a replacement

it has a mini plug with 3 red wires one white wire and 3 black wires

looks like two batterys 3and half " tape together to make it 7"s long

autel should just tells us a out side part number or just sell us one at  the right price of just the battery

so we can move on with are work

Theoretically, as long as the battery is 3.7V/11000mAh, it can be used on Maxisys and Maxisys Pro.

    Power and Battery11000 mAh 3.7 V lithium-polymer battery, Charging via 12 V vehicle power
    Input Voltage12 V (9-24 V)
Hi Witsend, it is easy understanding. Like US, the power supply standard voltage is 110V-120V, the power adapter will transfer the 110V to 12V as input voltage. And also we have internal circuits to transfer 12V to 4.2V to change the battery.

Here are some tips to prolong the battery life:

    1. Please use our original power adapter, which supports 12V/3A, to charge the battery.

    2. Don't leave it plugged in all the time: Leaving your devices plugged in at 100 percent is also harmful for battery life.

    3. Medium- to long-term storage: If you're not using your device for a while, then you should try to keep the battery at around 50 percent before turning it off.

    4. Partial discharge vs. Full discharge: Theoretically, keeping the charge in the 40 to 80 percent range is generally helpful. Of course you'll need to balance this with practical usage.

Usually it is not suggested customers to replace the battery themselves, especially for those are not technological on this procedure. As I stated previously, the battery is glued with the back cover, if separate it incautiously, it has risk to cause battery explosion.
