An Autel Technical support representative responded very quickly to my request for information regarding the MS908 Battery replacement costs today with the following statement:

 "The deductible for battery replacement is $200.00. For more information please call Autel Tech Support at (631)923-2620. One of our agents would be glad to assist you."

 I wasn't sure what was meant by "deductible for battery replacement" so I replied with "Is $200.00 the total cost (excluding shipping)?"  

The reply was “You will have to pay shipping costs one way”.

 With all of these battery issues within a year or so of the purchase date and the money you have to spend on getting it fixed. I say we start a class action law suite. My battery has been dead for about a year now and support sucks out loud. Also the selling dealers do not care about issues..

 ya, that only works if you can actually get the batteries. I ordered off eBay, and customs in China seized that batteries becasue YOU CAN'T SHIP LiPo BATTERIES VIA AIR!!!
